Second win in seven days

In the morning I had no such feeling today is the day I will get my first Croatian alpine skiing victory in person. At all.

Luckily, Zrinka didn't care for my lack of feelings and already in the first run she did a great job. She shared first place with Wendy and they both watched the rest of the top 15 from the leading chair.

And then we waited, we looked at the final pitch and second run course set, beating our brains out whether she'd prefer this or not.

When Wendy stormed through this set, skied like in her best days and set the best time of the second run with a second ahead of the rest, I thought to myself, it's ok if she finishes second. A podium, it'd be a great result.

But again, Zrinka didn't care for my thoughts. She came, she skied and she won for the second time in seven days. With four best times in four runs.

With Zrinka, you mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.
